Meditation by floating.
[one_half]By observing followers of meditation while "walking" last February 17th in a monastery near Mandalay in Sagaing, I tried to transpose this type of meditation in the floating water these last days. It is possible to float on the back in seawater, without wave, legs and arms apart, and keeping the head in the extension of the body without any effort. Only breathing at normal cadence allows the flotation to be maintained. [/one_half][one_half_last]As for sitting meditation, but even more easily in the water, because unconsciously breathing serves as a regulator to float, it is necessary to first focus on inspiration and then expiration of the air in the lungs. The ears half immersed in the water are "cut" from the external sounds and more in connection with the inner sounds of the body, which makes it even better to refocus on oneself. [/one_half_last]
