On la voit un peu partout, au détour d’un atelier de sculpture sur bois, sur les calendriers kitsch ou sur une carriole tirée par un cheval. Parfois, l’image est accompagnée par celle de son père le fameux général Aung San.
On dit qu’elle a gagné les élections et qu’à l’issue du mois de mars elle sera peut-être élue présidente de la Birmanie. D’autres disent qu’elle aspire à être au-dessus de la mêlée politique pour diriger depuis les coulisses du pouvoir.
IL y a de l’espoir, mais aucune certitude. Les tractations sont en court pour la formation du gouvernement.
